24 video clips produced by Telesgop. They are 5 to 8 minutes long, and include vets, lecturers and experts discussing a particular principle or demonstrating a skill. They are ideal for some of the units taught as part of the Level 3 (BTEC and City & Builds) course , namely:
• Sheep production
• Beef production
• Dairy production
• Grassland Management
• Agricultural engineering
• Estate maintenance skills
• Management of pigs and chickens
• Health of farm animals
The clips can be used to demonstrate a particular skill, leading to discussions in the classroom before completing a worksheet. Many of the clips give students a good grounding before they go out to practice the skill.
