These short courses are for apprentices who are keen to develop their confidence to use their Welsh in the workplace. They enable the apprentices to complete a part of their course through the medium of Welsh.  There are four different levels: Awareness, Understanding, Confidence and Fluency and there is a quiz to determine which level is suitable for you.

They demonstrate how it is possible for all learners to complete the same task, whilst developing their Welsh language skills at individual and appropriate levels. • bilingual posters of the key terms for each unit. • a resource that provides ideas for learners to use the Welsh language on work placements.

Excellent customer care is an integral part of working in many areas but particularly in the field of hospitality. Below is a video which includes 8 suggestions for introducing excellent customer service in hospitality. Additionally there is a video which introduces Cambrian Training to the apprentice and outlines the range of services available. The resources below were developed by Cambrian Training with support from the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.  The content is considered good practice and could also be relevant to other apprenticeship providers in other fields.  

When studying Art and Design at AS and A level, students will need to ascertain the meaning of specialist words and learn more about art organisations. The Geiriadur Celf is designed to answer these needs. It contains clear and comprehensive explanations of key areas of importance for students of Art and Design in Wales.

Bocsgolau is an online resource designed for art, craft and design teachers and students to support the aims of WJEC and Eduqas art and design programmes. Its aim is to provide insights from an education perspective into the contemporary practice of art, craft and design, the creative industries and the 21st century career change landscape. There are links to the websites of practitioners, creative organisations, galleries and museums, and an assessment and list sources of careers advice.
